Ari has litigated a variety of commercial disputes in federal and state court. His clients have ranged from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 50 companies. He is an AV rated attorney and has been selected to Best Lawyers in America (2013-2017), Southwest Super Lawyers (2010-2017), and Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.
Ari is one of the only litigators in Arizona qualified as a Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law (State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization). He is also certified by the Arizona Department of Real Estate as an instructor. He has taught a class on title procedures at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. The largest title insurers in Arizona rely on Ari’s expertise in title and escrow matters. In 2008, he successfully litigated a landmark title insurance coverage dispute in the Arizona Supreme Court, First American Title Insurance Company v. Action Acquisitions, 218 Ariz. 394, 187 P.3d 1107 (2008). He has also filed amicus curiae briefs with the Arizona Supreme Court for the Land Title Association of Arizona.
Ari is the general counsel for Ramras Realty. He has been interviewed on NBC12 and ABC15 regarding landlord-tenant issues, and has spoken at various continuing education and industry events on a variety of real estate issues. He has also acted as an expert witness on real estate litigation standard of care issues.
Ari is also an experienced mediator. He was trained at the Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard Law School. He is a mediation provider for the Arizona Association of Realtors. As a former Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court, he conducted numerous civil settlement conferences. In 2009, Ari was selected by the Director of the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to serve on the Arizona Foreclosure Mediation Task Force.
Ari has volunteered for Law Day Legal Aid Clinics and Lawyers On Call public service programs organized by the State Bar.
